We are happy to announce that in January 2022 we have obtained the Certified Interpretive Guides (CIG) certification from the National Association for Interpretation (NAI), based in Fort Collins, Colorado USA. NAI provides training and certifications to all the guides and hosts of the National Park Service, so familiar to many US citizens and international travelers.
The CIG certification has been a tough and inspiring milestone in our journey and for VeronaTours.com. When you come and visit with us, you will be offered state-of-the-art interpretive tours.
It was a dream come true to have Tim Merriman, Ph.D. and brilliant Lisa Brochu as our instructors: they have been leaders in the field of interpretation for many decades and they taught us that interpretation is an art, and like all arts it can be learned.
